Automotive Cybersecurity Training and Personal Certification

Cybersecurity and ISO/SAE 21434 – gain knowledge and understanding. Become a certified cybersecurity professional with flexible training modules and personal certifications.

The trend towards vehicle connectivity and automated vehicles as well as a rising number of complex automotive components have increased the risk of cyberattacks.

The development and safeguarding of safety-critical systems in automotive applications is an important part of development and operation. The ISO/SAE 21434 standard was developed to meet this challenge. It is the world's first international standard for cybersecurity in the automotive industry and its aim is to identify and reduce the risk of cyberattacks by embedding cybersecurity in automotive products.

The standard specifies technical requirements for cybersecurity risk management. These cover the concept, product development, production, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of electrical and electronic (EE) systems in road vehicles whose development or modification started after the publication of the standard in 2021. This includes their components and interfaces.

The standard aims to help developers and users achieve an adequate level of security, so that potential hackers find it difficult to carry out attacks.
